The National Mastitis Council (link) has a website with information about all aspects of mastitis and links to other useful sites. The NMC also has books and other materials for sale, and members of the NMC receive a periodic newsletter with information about mastitis and summaries of the latest research.

The section of this book about mastitis control covers much of the same territory as the control portion of Radostits et al's “Veterinary Medicine”, but with more specific detail. There are also illustrations of sheets on which to keep mastitis records, milking machine diagrams, and a milking procedures checklist. A new edition of this book, with Radostits as sole author, is due in August, 2001 .
