Species Age Category (VADS) Age range Weight range
Cattle Adult > 9 months > 900 lbs (GT 410 kg)
Cattle Juvenile 1 month to 9 months 200 - 900 lbs (91 - 410 kg)
Cattle Neonate One week to 1 month < 200 lbs (< 91 kg)
Swince Adult > 30 weeks > 280 lbs (> 127 kg)
Swine Juvenile 3 weeks to 30 weeks 12.5 - 280 lbs (5.7 - 127 kg)
Swine Neonate Birth to 3 weeks < 12.5 lbs (< 5.7 kg)
